Ахетатон – сакральний і політичний центр Cтародавнього Єгипту

Abstract

Досліджено особливості архітектури стародавнього міста Ахетатону, яке стало сонячною столицею Єгипту завдяки втіленню задумів і релігійного уявлення молодого фараона Ехтатона. Визначено специфіку та роль кожного з районів: Центрального міста, Південного та Північного передмістя, селища рабів. Зосереджено увагу на головному храмі бога Атона. Виявлено, що без знання про Ахетатон, зображений у новому стилі мистецтва, неможливо повною мірою зрозуміти релігійну реформу Ехтатона та його самого як особистість. Ключові слова: місто Cонця, релігійний переворот, палацові та храмові комплекси, архітектурний експеримент.

Исследованы особенности архитектуры древнего города Ахетатона, ставшего солнечной столицей Египта благодаря воплощению замыслов и религиозного представления молодого фараона Эхтатона. Определены специфика и роль каждого из районов: Центрального города, Южного и Северного предместья, поселения рабов. Рассмотрен главный храм бога Атона. Выявлено, что без знания об Ахетатоне, представленном в новом стиле искусства, невозможно в полной мере понять религиозную реформу Эхтатона и его самого как личность. The sunny town of Akhetaton, which was the capital of Egypt in the time of Pharaoh Akhenaten (Amenhotep IV), can be considered a unique architectural experiment, whose building was affected by the new religious reform. All the area with people, herds, and plantations around the capital was dedicated to the Sun identified with the God Aten. The God Aten possessed the granary, which was different form the state’s one, treasury, courts, workshops, herds, arable lands, and wineyards. The sacred territory that belonged to Aten was positioned on both western (larger part) and eastern coasts of the Nile. With regard for the above, the purpose of the present article is to show the role of this ancient town in the formation of Egypt’s political life and to discuss the religious reforms of Pharaoh Akhenaten and their meaning for the subsequent history of the country. As distinct from many settlements of the ancient Egypt, the town of Akhetaton was built by the single project and, therefore, had a good clear planning. There were three palaces (Central, Southern, and Northern ones) in the capital. A particular place in the housing architecture was occupied by the block of slaves. The significant attention was paid to the principal temple of the God Aten. The town of Akhetaton became the realization of thoughts of Pharaoh Akhenaten and his religious ideas. In the process of studies, it is established that the religious reform of Akhenaten and his personality cannot be completely understood without the knowledge of specific features of the town-capital, which are reflected in the new art style.
