Румунський Часослов 1833 р. в колекції Чернігівського історичного музею та щоденник солдата Першої світової війни

Abstract

Мета статті: уведення до наукового обігу інформації про богослужбову книгу, що зберігається в фондах Чернігівського історичного музею ім. В.В. Тарновського – Часослов 1833 р., виданий в Румунії. А також введення до наукового вжитку особистого щоденника власника книги, солдата Першої світової війни Гаврила Барана, що розкриває подробиці знахідки Часослова. Стаття ґрунтується на загальнонаукових методологічних принципах історичності, цілісності та об’єктивності. Вони реалізуються через застосування історико-критичного, аналітичного та логічного методів. Наукова новизна: історія книги та шлях її надходження до музею раніше не досліджувалися. У статті систематизовано зібраний матеріал, що стосується історії музейного артефакту. Щоденник Гаврила Барана як важливе джерело з історії Першої світової війни публікується вперше. Висновки. Опрацьований матеріал дозволяє визначити, наскільки це можливо, місце, де була знайдена книга, та її подальше місцезнаходження до моменту передачі Часослова до музею. Особистий щоденник солдата дає змогу детальніше дослідити події Першої світової війни переважно на Румунському фронті та частково на території України через призму сприйняття їх безпосереднім учасником в період з березня 1916 р. по жовтень 1917 р. Автор звертає особливу увагу на побутову сторону солдатської служби, детально описує пересування війська, передає через текст свої внутрішні переживання та фіксує враження від побачених ним румунських звичаїв і традицій.

The purpose of the article is to introduce into scientific circulation information about the liturgical book stored in the funds of the Chernihiv V.V. Tarnovskyi historical museum– the Book of hours (1833), published in Romania. And also the introduction of the personal diary of the owner of the book, a soldier of the First World War, Havril Baran, which reveals the details of find of the Book of hours, to scientific use. The article is based on general scientific methodological principles of historicity, integrity and objectivity. They are implemented through the use of historical-critical, analytical and logical methods. Scientific novelty: the history of the book and the way it arrived at the museum has not been investigated before. Collected material related to the history of the museum artifact is systematized in the article. Havril Baranʼs diary is published for the first time as an important source of the history of the First World War. Conclusions. The processed material makes it possible to determine as accurately as possible the place where the book was found and its further location until the time of handing over the Book of hours to the museum. The soldierʼs personal diary allows for a more detailed study of the events of the First World War, mainly on the Romanian front and partly on the territory of Ukraine, through the prism of their perception by a direct participant in the period from March 1916 to October 1917. The author pays special attention to the everyday routine of the soldierʼs service, describes in detail the movement of the troops, conveys through the text his inner experiences and records his impressions of the Romanian customs and traditions he saw.
