Державотворчий потенціал українського краєзнавства у контексті 70-річчя утворення Черкаської області

Abstract

Стаття присвячена важливій даті українського історичного календаря – 70-річчю утворення Черкаської області – одного із економічних та культурних регіонів незалежної України з багатими історичними і краєзнавчими традиціями. Зазначається, що, незважаючи на складні умови воєнного часу, краєзнавча спільнота Черкащини, як і увесь український народ, живе і діє з непохитною вірою в перемогу над ворогом і робить для цього усе можливе. Ювілейна дата у статті розглядається як нагода привернути увагу не тільки до діяльності Черкаської обласної організації НСКУ, а й у цьому контексті повести мову про роль і місце усього українського краєзнавства у сучасних реаліях і викликах. Наголошується, що у час суворих випробувань з особливою силою розкривається державотворчий потенціал українського краєзнавства як надзвичайно важливого засобу формування національно свідомого громадянина України, готового до активної участі у житті держави та захисту її суверенітету і територіальної цілісності. Формулюються першочергові завдання Національної спілки краєзнавців України і форми конкретної роботи Спілки в умовах російсько-української війни.

The article is dedicated to an important date in the Ukrainian historical calendar – the 70th anniversary of the formation of Cherkasy Oblast, one of the economic and cultural regions of independent Ukraine with rich historical and local history traditions. It notes that despite the challenging conditions of wartime, the local history community of Cherkasy, like the entire Ukrainian nation, lives and acts with unwavering faith in victory over the enemy and does everything possible to achieve it. The anniversary is viewed in the article as an opportunity to draw attention not only to the activities of the Cherkasy Regional Organization of the National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine (NULH), but also, in this context, to discuss the role and place of the entire Ukrainian local history in modern realities and challenges. It emphasizes that during times of severe trials, the state-building potential of Ukrainian local history reveals itself with particular force as an extremely important means of forming a nationally conscious citizen of Ukraine, ready for active participation in the life of the state and the protection of its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The article formulates the primary tasks of the National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine and specific forms of the Union’s work in the context of the Russo-Ukrainian war.
