О решении уравнения Сильвестра

Abstract

В термінах коефіцієнтів характеристичного полінома одного з матричних коефіцієнтів рівняння Сільвестра наведено вираз для точного розв’язку. Запропоновано різні обчислювальні процедури знаходження розв’язку, включаючи і процедуру, яку можна розглядати як узагальнення на випадок рівняння Сільвестра — відомого методу знаходження розв’язку рівняння Ляпунова шляхом підсумовування нескінченного ряду. Продемонстровано ефективність запропонованих обчислювальних процедур.

In terms of coefficients of the characteristic polynomial of one of the matrix coefficients of the Sylvester equation the expression for the exact solution is presented. Various computing procedures of finding the solution are offered. One of these procedures can be considered as generalization on the case of the Sylvester equations of the known method of finding the solution of the Lyapunov equation by summation of infinite series. The efficiency of offered computing procedures is shown.
