Внесок Я.М.Шульгіна в дослідження козацько-гетьманської України

Abstract

В статті розповідається про боротьбу українського народу за свою незалежність. Головною метою статті є спроба показати розуміння Я.М.Шульгіним подій історії України ХVІІ-ХVІІІ ст. Спершу викладено причини, які призвели до приєднання України до Росії. Пізніше проаналізовано спроби українських державних діячів домогтися автономії України в складі Росії.The article tells about the Ukrainian people’s struggle for their independence. The main purpose of the article is to show Ya. M. Shulgin’s understanding of the events of Ukrainian history in XVII-XVIII centuries. At first the author expounded the reasons that led to Ukraine’s unification with Russia, and then analysed the attempts of the Ukrainian statesmen to strive for the autonomy of Ukraine in the composition of Russia.
