"Великий терор" 1937–1938 рр. на Черкащині (за матеріалами Державного архіву Черкаської області)

Abstract

У статті на основі аналізу кримінальних позасудових справ, що зберігаються у Державному архіві Черкаської області, висвітлено трагічну долю громадян, які проживали на території сучасної Черкаської області у добу Великого терору. Документально підтверджено конкретні факти сваволі позасудових каральних органів у процесі реалізації репресивної політики тодішнього радянського керівництва. Розглядаються сфабриковані у 1930-х рр. конкретні справи на військовослужбовців, працівників культури, пересічних жителів краю. Доведено, що більшість доказів формувалися із застосуванням морального та фізичного тиску на заарештованих.

The article, based on the analysis of extrajudicial criminal cases stored in the State Archive of the Cherkasy Region, highlights the tragic fate of citizens who lived on the territory of the modern Cherkasy Region during the Great Terror. Specific facts of the arbitrariness of extrajudicial punitive bodies in the process of implementing the repressive policy of the then Soviet leadership have been documented.
