Abstract

During the research of the fortified set of buildings in Berman Gully the extension of these structures to the northwest has been discovered. The layers of the 4th—2nd c. BC, the 1st c. BC — the 2nd c. AD, the 2nd—3rd c. AD, and of the Mediaeval period till the 11th—12th c., were identified. At the Southern block of the fortified settlement of the 4th—2nd c. BC situated on the Western coast of Cossack Bay a Roman period building and a set of mediaeval walls-grounds were discovered. The material found testifies that the living activity in this part of the settlement continued till the 11th—12th c.
