dc.description.abstractA formula for Schur 𝑄-functions is presented, which describes the action of the Virasoro operators. For a strict partition, we prove a concise formula for 𝐿₋ₖ𝑄λ, where 𝐿₋ₖ (𝑘 ≥ 1) is the Virasoro operator.
dc.description.sponsorshipAfter completing the draft of the present paper, we had a chance to see the preprint [4], where the same formula as ours is proved as a part of the authors’ theory on BGW tau functions. Since the proof is slightly different, we decided to keep our proof in the present paper.
