dc.description.abstract	Experimental tests have been performed in order to study loss of the light output in length and to improve light collection of photons for long GSO and LYSO crystals. Research of shower development in crystals with non-optimal geometry and losses of light energy in light-reflecting wrapping were performed with the use of SLitrani and Geant4 codes. Obtained results allowed developing the structure of a calorimeter producing the required energy and energy-correlated resolutions in the COMET experiment.	uk_UA
