Abstract

Напередодні Нового року автор статті робить спробу проаналізувати поточний стан справ у Національній академії наук України, обговорити бачення Академією шляхів свого розвитку, а також намагається зрозуміти науково-освітню політику держави, яка за всі роки незалежності так і не змогла створити належні умови для забезпечення науково-технічного прогресу в країні. Наведено приклади наукової політики країн, які або вже мають розвинену наукову сферу, або інтенсивно її розвивають.

On the eve of the New Year, the author of this article attempts to analyze the current state of affairs at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, discuss the Academy’s vision of its development, and try to understand the scientific and educational policy of the state, which has failed to create the proper conditions for ensuring scientific and technological progress in the country during all the years of independence. The author provides examples of the scientific policy of countries that either already have a developed scientific sphere or are intensively developing it.
