Интродукция и перспективы использования сирени мелколистной в зеленом строительстве на юго-востоке Украины

Abstract

The results of introductional trial of small-leaved lilac (Syringa mycrophylla) in the south-east of Ukraine are expounded in the article. Lilac phenorhythms, terms and character of florescence, growth, development and resistance peculiarities, seed productivity, seed quality and seed productive capacity have been studied. It has been determined in the course of investigations that small-leaf lilac is characterized by good growth and development, annual florescence and fructification. The lilac is winterhardy, drought-resistant and distinctive for high ornamentality. As perspective and resistant lilac species, it is recommended for wide usage in greenery planting of parks, squares and industrial cities streets.
