Храми містечка Вороніж: історія побудови та зникнення церкви Святої Трійці

Abstract

Стаття подає відомості з метричних та сповідальних розписів Троїцької церкви м. Вороніж, матеріали фондів державних архівів України, етнографічні, картографічні, періодичні та літературні джерела, що розкривають факти з історії спорудження, перебудови (ХVІІ–ХVІІІ ст.) та перевезення до села Любитове Кролевецького повіту наприкінці ХІХ ст. дерев’яної церкви Святої Трійці містечка Вороніж Глухівського повіту (нині смт Вороніж Шосткинського району Сумської області). Витяги з церковних літописів повідомляють про фундаторів, священнослужителів та значних парафіян храму. Систематизовані маловідомі документи та кресленики, що стосуються досліджуваного храму і вперше введені до наукового обігу, розкривають особливості побудови дерев’яного храму в сотенному містечку Вороніж Ніжинського полку, розповідають про договір, який підписували на початку ХІХ ст. парафіяни Свято-Троїцької церкви зі своїм священником Григорієм Івановичем Кулжинським.

The article presents information from the metrical books of the Trinity and Mykhailivska Churches in Voronizh, materials from the funds of the state archives of the cities of Kyiv, Chernihiv, ethnographic, cartographic and literary sources that reveal facts about the history of construction, reconstruction ( 17th – 19th centuries) and moving to the village Liubytove, Krolevets district, at the end of the 19th century of the wooden church of the Holy Trinity in the Town of Voronizh, Hlukhiv district (now Voronizh, Shostka district). The work informs in detail about all stages of the construction, functioning and disappearance of one of the iconic objects of the town. Extracts of the church books (metrical, confessional, clerical) gives more information about the founders, priests, and significant parishioners of the temple. Little-known documents and blueprints related to the church under study and introduced into scientific circulation for the first time reveal the features of the construction of Cossacks wooden church in ancient Town of Voronizh of Nizhyn Regiment; talks about the contract signed at the beginning or the 19th century between parishioners of the Holy Trinity Church and their priest Hryhoriy Ivanovych Kulzhynsky. The study emphasizes the importance of smallpox vaccination, which H. Kulzhynsky did to the children of his parish thus saving hundreds of lives.
