Mechanism of infection transmission from domastic dogs to men and sanitation measures in the toxoplasmosis seats

Abstract

32 dogs sick with toxoplasmosis were under the observation. It is determined that they got the infection while eating the raw food of animal origin. Twelve men out of those who was in a contact with the sick dogs fell ill with toxoplasmosis. An epidemiological investigation showed that infection of man occured when the pathogene came through the mouth. Nowdays in the toxoplasmosis seats it is necessary to carry out the sanitation measures which come to carrying the sanitary-instructive work among the owners of the dogs, and to the timely revealing of dogs sick with toxoplasmosis by means of reaction of binding together a complement. In the toxoplasmosis seats the anti-epidemiological and anti-epizootic measures should be carried out.
