Неопублікований список вихованців Чернігівської духовної семінарії 1793 р.

Abstract

Мета дослідження полягає у запровадженні до наукового обігу та систематизації відомостей про вихованців Чернігівської духовної семінарії з метою з’ясування основних тенденцій розвитку системи духовної освіти на теренах Північного Лівобережжя. Методологічну основу дослідження становлять загальнонаукові методи аналізу та синтезу. Порівняльно-історичний метод був використаний для визначення ролі Чернігівської духовної семінарії у розвитку освіти на Лівобережжі України наприкінці XVIII ст. Наукова новизна: вперше досліджено один із найдавніших відомих списків вихованців Чернігівської духовної семінарії, що дозволило реконструювати їхню вікову і соціальну структуру та походження. З’ясовано коло додаткових предметів викладання та методика оцінювання вихованців. Зроблено висновок щодо важливої ролі Чернігівської духовної семінарії в розвитку освіти на території Північного Лівобережжя України як одного з провідних навчальних закладів регіону.

The purpose of the study is to introduce into scientific circulation and systematize information about the students of the Chernihiv Theological Seminary in order to identify the main trends in the development of the system of spiritual education in the Northern Left Bank. The methodological basis of the study is based on general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis. The comparative historical method was used to determine the role of the Chernihiv Theological Seminary in the development of education on the Left Bank of Ukraine in the late eighteenth century. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time one of the oldest known lists of students of the Chernihiv Theological Seminary was studied. This made it possible to reconstruct the social structure of the students of the educational institution and their origin. The range of additional subjects taught and the method of evaluation at the Chernihiv Theological Seminary was also clarified. The author concludes that the Chernihiv Theological Seminary plays an important role in the development of education in the Northern Left Bank of Ukraine as one of the leading educational institutions in the region.
