dc.description.abstractThe Renaissance in Slavonic world should be considered in the entity of art, literature, and folklore phenomena, that played a great role in emergence of Renaissance ideas. Humanistic, life-asserting, democratic, and aesthetic views in Slavonic folklore coinside with artistic and philosophical principles of the Renaissance. Baroque in Slavonic world in 17th century performed a lot of functions of the Renaissance, developing them deeply and vividly. It integrated the culture of Western, Southern, and Eastern Slavs with the cultures of other European folks. Baroque esthetic and ethical principles are presented brightly in the Ukrainian folklore.uk_UA
