Об эффективности методов защиты Земли от астероидов

Abstract

Розглянуто сучасні світові праці з аналізу небезпеки від небесних тіл, які пересікають орбіту Землі. Ймовірність зіткнення астероїдів із Землею пропонується оцінювати за Туринською шкалою. Розглянуто методи захисту Землі від астероїдної небезпеки, а також оцінюється їх ефективність. Зроблено висновок про перспективність попередження катастрофи космічного масштабу через радіолокаційні спостереження за малими планетами як напряму захисту, а також необхідність подальшого вдосконалення систем захисту Землі.

The contemporary wordwide research publications considering the danger arising from cellestial bodies which cross the orbit of the Earth are analyzed. The collision probability of asteroids with the Earth is suggested to estimate with the help of Tourin’s scale. The methods of protection of the Earth from asteroids are considered and their efficiency is evaluated. The conclusion is drawn that the prospective method of protection from the large scale catastrophy is the radiolocation planetoid observation along with necessary development of the system of the Earth protection.
