Abstract

Article is devoted to process of planning of the 12th five-year program of economic and social development by Chinese leadership. It analyzes main tasks, problems and challenges that await China in the near future. In October 2010, after the 5th Plenum of the CPC Central Committee of the 17th convocation, the final period of development of the next five year development plan of China has began. It was approved during the regular session of the Chinese parliament March 14, 2011. Next five years is seen in Beijing as a key stage in the implementation of further reforms in political, economic, social and cultural fields. Thus, it is the urgent task to analyze modern approaches and views of the China’s leadership on economic planning, the role of CCP in the current stage of economic reforms and the main tasks, which China will try to realize in the next few years.
