Етномовний склад населення України: наслідки російщення

Abstract

У статті визначено чинники, які впливали на формування української ідентичності за часів бездержавності. Розкрито сутність російської імперської політики щодо України. Встановлено статус українства в Україні за часів бездержавності (підпорядкована етнічна більшість) та домінантне становище росіян. Опираючись на аналіз статистичних матеріалів переписів населення, окреслено вплив політики російщення за радянських часів на зміни етномовної структури населення України загалом та її окремих областей. З’ясовано наслідки інерційного впливу етномовних процесів доби бездержавності на сучасну Україну.

The factors that have influenced the formation of Ukrainian identity in the times of the State system's lack are determined in the article. The essence of the Russian imperial policy concerning Ukraine is shown. The status of Ukrainians in Ukraine in the times of the State system lacked (subordinated ethnic majority), and the dominant status of the Russians was established. The influence of the Russification policy of the Soviet times on the changes in the ethnic and language structure of the inhabitants of Ukraine in general and its separate regions is considered. The investigation is based on the analysis of statistical materials of the population censuses. The consequences of the inertial influence of ethnic and language processes of the times of the State system, a lack in modern Ukraine are found.
