Особливості турецької політики гетьмана Б.Хмельницького

Abstract

У статті на основі опублікованих і архівних документів розглянуто турецьку складову зовнішньої політики гетьмана Б.Хмельницького, з’ясовується самостійне значення відносин з Османською імперією, а також їх місце у процесі реалізації принципу полівасалітетності України. Вказано на частковий успіх Б.Хмельницького у справі досягнення фактичного протекторату з боку Туреччини та на перетворення турецького напрямку зовнішньої політики на традицію для низки наступних українськіх гетьманів.In the article author on the base of published and archive sources examines the Turkish component of Hetman B. Chmel’nyts’kyj’s foreign policy. It is elucidated the significance of relations with Ottoman Empire in itself as well as their place in the process of realization of polyvassalities principle towards the Ukraine. It is pointed out to the partial success of B. Chmel’nyts’kyi in achievement of actual protection from Turkey and to the transformation of Turkish stream of foreign relations to politic tradition for a number of following Ukrainian Hetmans.
