Переселення козаків Глухівського повіту на землі Чорноморського війська у 1821-1825 рр.

Abstract

У статті на основі архівних документів висвітлюється перебіг переселенського руху козаків Глухівського повіту Чернігівської губернії на Кубань під час другої хвилі міграції у 1821–1825 рр. Детально аналізуються причини й особливості переселення до нових регіонів.The article, based on archival documents, highlights the migration movement of Cossacks of the Hlukhiv district of the Chernihiv province to the Kuban during the second wave of migration in 1821–1825. The reasons and features of the migration to new regions are analyzed in detail. During the second mass wave of resettlement in 1821–1825 the Cossacks from the southern districts migrated most actively from Chernihiv region. The Cossacks of the Hlukhiv district took an active part in the resettlement and made up 5% of all Chernihiv immigrants in 1820-1825. As a result of the resettlement of Ukrainians in the 20s of the 19th century to the Kuban there was an improvement in the demographic situation in this region, further military and economic colonization of the region, and more reliable protection of the southern borders of the Russian Empire.
