Анотація
У статті розглядається діяльність представників ніжинської козацько-старшинської родини Тарасевичів упродовж другої половини XVII–XVIII ст. Проаналізовано її походження, персональний склад, участь у військовому та суспільно-політичному житті Гетьманщини, адміністративна діяльність, майнове становище і спроби отримання російського дворянства.
The article examines the activities of representatives of the Tarasevych family of Nizhyn regiment elders during the second half of the second halh of the XVII–XVIII senturies. Its origin, personal composition, participation in the military and socio-political life of the Hetmanate, property situation and attemps to obtain Russian nobility are analyzed. It has been established that the Tarasevych family came from the upper middle class of the city of Nizhyn. At the end of the 17th century its representatives joined the ranks of the local Cossack. During the 18th century the Tarasevych family split into three branches – Tarasevych, Volodkivski and Temranski. Representatives of four generations of the Tarasevych family were part of the regimental, countries and non-govermental Cossack petty officers of the Nizhyn regiment. They took an active part in the military campaigns conducted by the Russian Empire during the 18th century, and were distinguished by their active socio-political and administrative activities. During the 18th century representatives of the family estates in the Nizhyn regiment. At the end of the 18th century representatives of the Tarasevych family received the rights of the Russian nobility and became part of the nobility of the Nizhyn district. In the first half of the 19th century part of their descendants was able to confirm the rights to own the nobility and was included in the genealogical books of the nobility of the Chernihiv province.
