Спогади як соціокультурне явище сучасної України: спроба узагальнення

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано творення спогадів у незалежній Україні, встановлено їхню соціокультурну роль та функції в сучасному суспільстві. На прикладі мемуарів істориків, дисидентів і представників радянсько-партійної номенклатури вперше розкрито їхню роль як самостійного інтелектуального явища в руслі сучасних інформаційних впливів, їхній інформативний та ідеологічний потенціал, визначено специфіку спогадової літератури в сучасній Україні. Встановлено, що тип репрезентації минулого у спогадах визначають час написання та актуальні запити суспільства. На зміст спогадів впливають можливості людської пам’яті, світогляд автора, його професійна діяльність, мотиви, а також маніпуляції історичною пам’яттю в сучасному суспільному просторі. Спогадова література інколи виказує страх, розгубленість, невизначеність і недовіру, песимістичний погляд на майбутнє. Автори нерідко вдаються до виправдання, погляду на сучасне за критеріями минулого, представлення своєї позитивної ролі у подіях. У сучасному інформаційному просторі мемуаристика виконує важливі інформативну й пізнавально-виховну функції, а також відіграє помітну соціокультурну роль завдяки своїй гуманістичній спрямованості. Поєднуючи ознаки історичного джерела, історіографічного факту й літературного тексту, спогади містять цінну інформацію про діяльність громадсько активної людини і виклики епохи, що дає змогу розглядати їх як один із проявів антропологізації історіографії. Водночас як історичне джерело спогади є вкрай суб’єктивними і можуть генерувати нові суспільні стереотипи. У статті розкрито й теоретичні аспекти дослідження мемуаристики, значну увагу звернено на пам’ять як джерело написання спогадів, окреслено питання пам’яті посткомуністичного суспільства.

The article presents an analysis of memoirs in independent Ukraine with a particular focus on their sociocultural role and functions in the modern society. Drawing on the example of memoirs by historians, dissidents, and representatives of the Soviet party elite, the article is the first attempt to uncover the role of memoirs as an independent intellectual phenomenon in the context of modern informational space and their informational and ideological potential. The peculiarities of memoirs in modern Ukraine have been analyzed. It has been found that the type of representation of past in memoirs is determined by the period of writing and current community demand. Memoirs are shaped by the ability of human memory, an author’s worldview, their profession, motives, as well as manipulation of historical memory in the modern social space. The memoirs sometimes presents fear, confusion, uncertainty and distrust, pessimistic view of the future. The authors occasionally use excuses, present the modernity through the lens of the past, describe their positive role in the events of the past. In the modern informational space, memoirs have important informational, cognitive, and educational functions, as well as a prominent sociocultural role due to their humanistic orientation. Combining the features of a historical source, a historiographical fact and a literary text, the memoirs contain important information about the activity of a socially active person and the challenges of epoch, thus, giving an opportunity to define them as a manifestation of anthropologization of historiography. At the same time, as the historical source, the memoirs are subjective and can create new social stereotypes. The article also presents the theoretical aspects of the study of memoirs with a particular focus on memory as a source for writing memoirs. The issue of memory of post-Communist society has been elicited.
